Enjoy jazz music from the American songbook performed by saxophonist Ben Shaw and guitarist Mark Medeiros as they meander through Ballard Park’s quarry meadow where 19,000 daffodils will be blooming. Spring flowers will be available for purchase at a “Bouquet Bar” and photographer Jennifer Carter will be on site to take your picture…. or feel free to bring your own camera. Clean City Program – Earth Day Cleanup Events

Earth Day Clean-Up and Free Tour at Ballard Park

Saturday, April 25
Volunteer to give Newport’s Only Nature Preserve a Spring cleaning! Clean up starts at 9 am. All are invited to partake in a free tour of the park at 11 am when staff of Friends of Ballard Park will share the site’s history and point out some of its unique features. Hazard Road entrance.
